Refund policy
The full Return & Refund Terms & Conditions are included on every invoice and order confirmation email. Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for complete details.
Accents@Home will happily accept a return or exchange due to a change of mind, provided that a request is received within 7 days of pickup or delivery, and the item is returned unused in its original packaging. This policy is not applicable to certain orders listed below:
We cannot accept cancellations or returns for:
- Special Order items
- “AS-IS” items
- Discounted or sale items
- Mattresses or items damaged upon leaving the store
- Custom orders or products marked as Final Sale
- Once a custom order has entered production (moved to “In Production”), cancellation is no longer possible, and the balance paid cannot be refunded.
All returned items will be inspected and are subject to a restocking fee.
Return shipping is to be arranged by the customer (or the customer may choose their own shipping provider). Once items are returned and inspected, refunds will be processed based on the original method of payment. For orders paid via credit card, please note that the refunded amount will have a 3% administrative fee deducted. (Cash refunds are subject to the availability of funds.)
You will be notified via email once your refund has been processed. Accents@Home will refund only the value of the goods returned, minus the applicable restocking fee of 20%, and will not refund any shipping or assembly charges paid.
You will be held liable for damages exceeding those for which the item was approved for exchange or return.
In the case of a pickup, the customer is expected to arrange a return shipment in case of an exchange or return, or if the item(s) require repairs that may not be possible to perform at the customer's home.
All promotional, clearance, and discounted sales are final no price adjustment is available on fulfilled orders (picked up or delivered).
Please ensure that returned products are received at our warehouse within 7 days from the delivery or pickup date. If the item is held in our warehouse beyond one month, the following tiered warehousing fees will apply:
- 1–4 weeks: $0
- 4–8 weeks: $100
- 8–12 weeks: an additional of $50 (Total of $150)
Refunds can only be issued via the original payment method. If the original method is no longer available, store credit equal to the refund amount will be issued; this process may take up to 5 business days for the credit to appear.
Please note that standard shipping and white glove shipping charges from the original order cannot be refunded once these services have been provided by the carrier.
Do not refuse undamaged items or parts; you are responsible for all redelivery costs, including, but not limited to, storage fees.
We will send a replacement via standard shipping or offer local repair reimbursement at our discretion. In the event of a replacement, items with structural damage or deemed unusable will be fully replaced with an in-stock item, where possible.
All items marked as Final Sale are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged since they are sold in their presented condition. Final Sale items are exempt from the regular store policy and are covered only by the Accents@Home Limited Warranty for 90 calendar days. No exceptions will be made for Final Sale items.
Non-Returnable Items listed below cannot be returned or exchanged. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable; other restrictions may apply:
- Items without proof of purchase
- Items purchased as Final Sale
- Items used or damaged through normal wear and tear
- Special Order/Made to Order Furniture
- Store floor samples
- All custom furniture
Cancellation - Unshipped You can cancel your order before it is set up for shipment. For orders paid via credit card, the refunded amount will have a 3% administrative fee deducted. (This does not apply to Custom Orders.)
Cancellation - Shipped You can cancel your order once it has been set up for shipment; however, the costs for both outbound and return shipping will be deducted from the refund amount. (This does not apply to Custom Orders.)
Cancellation - Custom Orders Once a custom order has moved to “In Production” status, all production costs have been incurred. Cancellation is no longer possible, and any balance paid cannot be refunded.
Warranty & Product Condition
- All items come with a 1-Year Manufacturer's Warranty on the Frame Construction Only.
- Floor models and final sale are as-is (no refunds, returns, or exchanges) and do not carry any warranty.
- Accents@Home will not cover damages that occur during self-assembly.
- Any damages or defects reported after 24 hours of delivery will be subject to inspection before an exchange or return.
In-Store Return Policy
For in-store purchases, you have a 7-day window from the date of purchase to cancel the order. After 7 days, cancellation will result in a refund only as an in-store credit or will incur a 20% restocking fee.
If you are not completely satisfied with your in-store purchase, you may return it within 7 days in its original condition for an exchange or in-store credit, minus the 20% restocking fee applicable in both circumstances. (Please note that the initial delivery charge is non-refundable, and an additional delivery charge will apply for pickup services on returns or exchanges.)
